ChandaMitra ("we", "our", "the app") is a donation and expense management app for temple committees, festival organizing groups, and community associations. This Privacy Policy explains what information ChandaMitra collects, how it is used, and how you can request that it be deleted.

We use the information above to: let you sign in and sync your committee's data across devices; let your committee members collaborate on the same festival book; generate and share PDF donation receipts; show donors their own contribution history in the Donor Portal; display ads (free version); and process the optional Pro upgrade purchase.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that power the app:

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) between the app and our Firebase backend. You can additionally lock the app on your own device with fingerprint, face unlock, or a PIN, so the data on your device stays protected even if your phone is unlocked by someone else.
We retain your account and committee data for as long as your account or festival book is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time by emailing us at the address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
ChandaMitra is intended for adult committee members and donors managing community/temple finances. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
